Hotel Rangá is a true gem for nature enthusiasts and stargazers alike. the cozy wood-paneled bar and lounge areas create a warm and inviting atmosphere, perfect for unwinding after a day of exploration. the attentive staff make you feel right at home, offering a range of services from tour assistance to spa treatments, enhancing the overall experience. The highlight of our stay was getting the chance to use the TEC 160ED APO refractor telescope for some unforgettable stargazing sessions. the second-floor lounge-bar with its stunning river views and the games room provided additional charm and entertainment options for our group. the Nordic-inspired menu featuring local ingredients was a delightful culinary experience, truly celebrating the flavors of Iceland. Being away from light pollution, Hotel Rangá is an ideal location for witnessing the mesmerizing Northern Lights dance across the night sky. Overall, Hotel Rangá exceeded our expectations and provided a truly magical experience amidst Iceland's rugged beauty.
